Book design

A book about the war between the army of Oda Nobunaga and ninjas in the Iga province, Japan. After the defeat ninjas were officialy forbidden.
The design is inpired by the traditional Japanese print and by the post-sovient 1990's martial arts books in Russia.

There are three main sections in the book devided by red spreads
Within the sections each chapter is identified by the Japanese numbers.
Text spread. The official history of the conquerence of the province of Iga and the cessation of ninjas is retold in the main text. The art of ninja and secrets of its history are told and tucked in in the smaller text boxes.
Quotes and images are enclosed in red Japanese quote marks
The third section of the book are lists oа ninjas in moder culture: TV, video games, art, music, sports, business, etc.
