Say Hi Moscow
Idea and organizer
2019
An event series aimed to meet new people. In a big city like Moscow one often is secluded to their own "bubble". This events help people meet others who have different backgrounds, careers, and interests.
KultSreda
2012-2018
A group that I organised to find company to explore the abundant cultural happining in Moscow. The group has been active through the years and at some point estimated over 50 people.
KultSreda - translates as Cultural Wednesday, as we usually go out on wednesdays, but there is also another meaning to the word - environment, surroundings. We met each week to visit museums, exhibitions, tours or just walk around the historical parts of Moscow and travel Russia.
WTF do you do
2015
Together with digital education school BrainStation hosted a lunch event series, where people with common or uncommon jobs in tech explained what they do for living. The goal was to help people understand various job titles and what stands behind different fields of work.
Ordinarily Extraordinary
2015
I had grown tired of networking and the go-go-go nature of things in Vancouver and wanted to meet with people in a more meaningful way. I organized an event series for 15  people. We met every Thursday morning to hear a story from one of us.
Some stories can only be heard after years of friendship. Not because they are very personal, they just don't seem like something to share at an event.
The impact of the series was more than I could have expected: some of the attendees asked me to establish this series in their town; someone found a job; a lot of emotions were shared and new genuine connections were made.
The name was inspired by this quote by Veronique Vienne: the only difference between an extraordinary life and an ordinary one is the extraordinary pleasures you find in ordinary things.
Social Event Profs
2015
Together with a ticketing company Picatic I organised a day event for social media professionals. We had attendance over 100 people.
